(第四篇) Windows NT 4 server轉移到Windows 2008 server R2 (Migration)

 

本篇將教大家從Temp Windows NT4 PDC直接升級到Windows 2000 Server 32bits。首先要從Temp Windows NT4 BDC轉移角色到Temp Windows BT4 PDC，請到Start > Programs > Administrative Tools > Server Manager，然後選擇Windows NT 4.0 Backup，再按上方的Computer > Promote to Primary Domain Controller，就會去到上方的 畫面，答Yes開始轉移角色：

在轉移角色期間請耐心等待…

 

 

轉移PDC角色成功後，請在VMware Workstation 7的虛擬CD-Rom插入Windows 2000 Server 32bits的ISO就會看見直接升級畫面(筆者是使用試用版本)，然後按Yes：

在Welcome screen選Upgrade to Windows 2000 (Recommended)，意思是直接升級：

在License Agreement選I accept this agreement，然後按Next：

在Copying Installation Files期間請耐心等待…

然後按Finish來重新啟動電腦：

來到選擇畫面，請選預設Microsoft Windows 2000 Server Setup：

就會來到Windows 2000 Server setup畫面：

請在Setup畫面中耐心等待…

然後就可以重新啟動電腦：

現在就是Windows 2000 Server Startup畫面了：

Windows 2000 Server開始Setup，請耐心等待：

在Windows 2000 Sever Upgrade畫面請耐心等待：

在installs network components會比較耐一些，請耐心等待：

在install the components畫面，請耐心等待：

在Performing Final Tasks需要比較長時，請耐心等待：

安裝完所有components就可以按Restart Now重啟電腦：

回到Windows 2000 Server Startup畫面：

一開始在Windows 2000 Server會在Active Directory Installation Wizard位置，請按Next：

在Create Tree or Chind Domain畫面，請選擇Create a new domain tree：

在Create a Join Forest，請選擇Create a new forest of domain trees：

在New Domain Name，這裡是指Windows NT4 PDC的domain name，緊記輸入正確，這個試範輸入test.local (請參考第三篇Windows NT4 PDC的domain name)：

在Database and Log Locations，不需要選擇新location，預設就可以，然後按Next：

在Shared System Volume，不需要選擇新location，預設就可以，然後按Next：

在Configure DNS，這裡選擇Yes,install and confgure DNS on this computer (recommended)，緊記一定要安裝DNS，如果沒有就不會有所有電腦FQDN記錄，然後按Next：

在Premission選Premission compatible only with Windows 2000 servers，因為不會再有底過Windows 2000 servers在forest或domain內，然後按Next：

在Directory Services Restore Mode Administrator Password輸入喜歡的密碼，然後按Next：

在Summary按Next：

在Configuring Active Direcory，請耐心等待：

在Completing the Active Directory Installation Wizard按Finish：

然後按Restart：

重新啟動電腦後，請開啟Start > Programs > Administrative Tools > Active Directory Users and Computers，檢查使用者和電腦帳戶是否存在：

再按W2KSP4_EN.EXE升級到SP4，請在Extracting Files耐心等待：

在Welcome screen按Next：

在License Agreement按Next：

在Select Options選Archive Files，然後按Next：

在Backing up files，請耐心等待：

然後就可以按Finish重新啟電腦：

然後使用dcdiag.exe診斷樹系和網域是否有問題，詳情請到：http://www.ucertify.com/article/what-is-dcdiag-tool.html。

可以在Windows 2000 Server ISO內的 Support > TOOLS > SETUP.EXE 來安裝support tools，安裝後可以到C: > Program Files > Support Tools 找到dcdiag.exe，將它抄到C:磁碟機內，在Start > Run 輸入cmd，在指令視窗去到C:磁碟機，再輸入dcdiag.exe就開始診斷，看看是否全部都是Passed test：
